Dr. Angela Knox, Assistant Principal

Greetings! I’m Dr. Angela Knox, and I am honored to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Sparkman High School. Originally from Pemberton, New Jersey, I bring more than 25 years of experience in education and a deep passion for helping students reach their fullest potential.

I began my teaching career in Memphis, Tennessee, where I taught both elementary and middle school. Over the years, I have served in a variety of leadership roles, including Title I Coordinator, Instructional Coordinator, Building Test Coordinator, and Assistant Principal. This has strengthened my commitment to student growth and academic excellence,

In 2021, my family and I relocated to Madison, Alabama, where I joined Madison County Schools as an Instructional Coach at Sparkman Ninth Grade School. I served as an Instructional Coach and 504 Coordinator at Sparkman High School before stepping into my current role as Assistant Principal.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and sons, traveling, and reading. I’m excited to continue partnering with the Sparkman community.
