Mrs. Daffney Legston

Mrs. Legston is from Marianna, Florida, and a high school graduate of Meade County High School in Brandenburg, Kentucky. She attained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Alabama, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Mrs. Legston further pursued her education, achieving a Master’s degree in Special Education from Alabama A&M University, a Master’s degree in instructional leadership from Samford University, and an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.

Mrs. Legston has served over  20 years in the field of Education.  In 2006, she began to serve the Madison County School System, assuming roles as a Collaborative teacher and the Department Chair of Special Education at Madison County High School. Mrs. Legston firmly believes that every student should be challenged and can reach their maximum learning potential through the positive and supportive collaboration of administration, teachers, parents, and the community.

Mrs. Legston has been married to Eddie Legston Sr., a retired army veteran, since 1990. They have three children, four grandchildren, and one dog ( Levi).  She is filled with joy to become a member of the Sparkman family. Additionally, she extends her gratitude to the Sparkman community for allowing her to be a part of your student's educational journey.
