Junior Civitan

Junior Civitan is a volunteer organization that promotes good citizenship among young people. The Sparkman Junior Civitan was chartered in February 2008 by the Madison Civitan Club. The club focuses on helping others and becoming good citizens. Some of the club’s goals are as follows: reaching out to the community for service opportunities, helping the developmentally challenged, and working with our sponsor club. We are always looking for new opportunities to make an impact. Two of our planned events every year are working at the Huntsville/Madison Co. Special Olympics and helping to put on Sparkman SLC Christmas Party. Many of our activities take place within school hours. Dues are $30, and anyone who is passionate about helping others is welcome to join.
