Course Selection 2026-2027
Timeline and Process
Registration Expo Night: February 4
- SHS Auditorium, 5-7 p.m.
- Course and Club Fair open for you to browse from 5-7 p.m.
- Information Sessions offered on Dual Enrollment, College & Career, and Graduation Requirements at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium.
Registration Material Distribution: February 2-6
- We will come to S9's 1st block classes and SHS's SPARK classes to distribute registration forms and briefly go over the registration process
2nd Block Classroom Visits: February 9 - March 5
- A counselor will return to your 1st block or SPARK classroom (or other designated location) on the day your form is due to collect your registration form and assist you as you enter your requests in PowerSchool
Graduation Requirements
- 4 English
- 4 Science
- Biology, Physical Science or Chemistry, +2 additional
- 4 History
- World, US 10, US 11, Gov & Econ
- 4 Math
- Geometry, Alg I, Alg II, + 1 additional
- Health
- Career Preparedness
- Beginning Kinesiology
- 5.5 elective credits
- 3 of them must be Fine Art, Foreign Language and/or Career Tech electives in any combination
- Minimum 24 Total Credits
- Earn at least 1 College and Career Readiness Indicator(CCRI)
- Civics Exam
- FAFSA Completion or Opt-Out Form
